I have tried on numerous occasions to try and view the data online over the past week, but all I keep getting is 'Bad Gateway', is anything being done about this?

Sorry guys, I was busy preparing for the Istanbul meeting when this happened.
Our database server has been trashed! Unfortunately we were told by our IT dept last week that the data cannot be retrieved!
Its not as bad as it sounds, we can recreate the system from scratch and are just waiting for a new database server to be provisioned. Luckily, the web server is unaffected (obviously, as it hosts this forum) and the data are all stored in dynamat before they are pulled through into the smartspaces database.
The problem is a historical glitch in the way IT services are provided to IESD. The new database server will be fully supported and backed up and everything so this should never happen again. I should reiterate, the problem was not with the smartspaces system itself but with the database server which the system used to store its data.
Normal service should resume within no more than a week or so. The system may be back online far sooner than that but will have a lot of calculations to do on historical data which will mean the system will appear with no data and will slowly load data over the next few days. This is the same process as adding 25 new buildings onto the system, the 'new' data need to be processed into smiley faces. The modelling process is complex and computationally expensive.

I can now confirm the database server is up and running, I have setup an empty smartspaces database and have started the web server running smartspaces. So you should see a very blank looking system at http://smartspaces.dmu.ac.uk.
I am now importing data from our smartspaces copy of dynamat. Once the data are imported I will initiate the calculations and we should see data slowly loading into the website.

Great to have the site up and running again.
